What B12 does
B12 is required for red blood cell formation, for nerve function and for turning food into usable energy. The body cannot make it, so all of it comes from diet or supplementation — and it is one of the nutrients people most commonly run low on, particularly on a vegetarian or vegan diet, after forty, and on long-term medication that interferes with absorption.
An injection bypasses the gut entirely, which is the reason to have one rather than take a tablet: absorption through the stomach is exactly what fails in most people who are genuinely low. Delivered directly, the amount that reaches you is not left to chance.
What to expect
- A single injection. In and out in minutes, with nothing to recover from
- Energy and mental clarity are what most people notice first
- Repeated on a schedule rather than one-off, since the body uses and clears it
- Often run alongside the clinic’s other wellness treatments
- Straight back to your day — no restrictions afterwards
Worth knowing first
B12 corrects a B12 deficiency. It does that well, and if you are low the difference in energy is genuinely noticeable. What it does not do is fix fatigue that has another cause — and persistent tiredness has a long list of causes worth ruling out properly, from thyroid function to iron levels to sleep.
If you are tired all the time, the useful first step is a blood test with your physician rather than an injection on spec. We would rather tell you that than sell you a course of something that was never the problem.
